Immediate Technical and Humanitarian Support Offer – Northdale Hospital Crisis
Dear Honourable MEC,
The Association of Professional Artisans of South Africa (APASA) is gravely concerned about the ongoing crisis at Northdale Hospital.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, APASA hereby offers technical support through a volunteer deployment of qualified electricians, refrigeration mechanics, and related artisans to assist the hospital in stabilizing critical services, particularly in restoring refrigeration to the mortuary and supporting alternative power supply measures.
We respectfully request an urgent meeting with your office to discuss how APASA can complement government efforts in responding to this crisis.
Our “Restore Dignity Campaign” is already underway, and we believe that partnerships between government, professional bodies, and civil society are critical to restoring hope and dignity to our people.
